About the CVB
The Area's Official Destination Management Organization
The Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention and CVB logoVisitors Bureau (CVB) is the Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, and Johnson County area's official destination management organization. The objective for the CVB is to increase visitor volume and spending by bringing conferences, meetings, leisure business, and special events to our community and enhance our area quality of life.

We achieve this by

  • Providing service and support to conventions and area existing signature events
  • Providing comprehensive information to visitors and prospective visitors

Representing Our Partners
As a private, nonprofit corporation, the CVB is guided by a 15-member board representing the CVB partnership; the city councils of Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty; the University of Iowa; Johnson County Board of Supervisors; and the hospitality industry of Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty.
