Mission:
The Bureau is organized for the purpose of advancing the economic welfare of the Iowa City/Coralville communities through the promotion of the communities as a tourist attraction, convention site and location for special events.
What is the ICCCVB?
It is the area's only full-time destination marketing organization. The CVB promotes the Iowa City/Coralville area to visitors.
Who is the ICCCVB?
The ICCCVB is a private, not-for-profit corporation guided by a 14-member board, representing the CVB membership, the city councils of Iowa City and Coralville, the University of Iowa and the hospitality industry of Iowa City and Coralville.
Have I seen the ICCCVB at the Coral Ridge Mall?
The ICCCVB has recently been given the opportunity to market to approximately 10 million visitors a year through our presence at the ICCCVB Guest Welcome Center at Coral Ridge Mall. This will be one more way we can promote the Iowa City/Coralville area as destination and inform tourists of everything we have to offer.
Where does the ICCCVB funding come from?
About 60% of the CVB funding comes from approximately 28% of the hotel/motel taxes collected in Iowa City and Coralville. Membership dues, retail sales and other partnerships make up the other 40% of the budget.
